The Lake District
Next on our list is a little further north; the Lake District has always been a favourite destination for those looking to reconnect with nature and experience some of our country’s most beautiful landscapes.
Windermere and the surrounding areas have so much to offer for campervans and tents alike, so you’re sure to find the perfect spot to explore.
Snowdonia
Our next destination is just across the border. Stretching over an incredible 823 square miles, Snowdonia is renowned worldwide for its mountains and glacial landforms. For adventurous souls, there are 7 mountains to conquer, including the mighty Mount Snowdon.
With a multitude of camping spots to choose from, you’re sure to find the ideal location to park your van, pitch up camp and relax.
The Isle Of Wight
For campers that don’t mind driving aboard a ferry and crossing the water, the Isle of Wight is another of the most visually striking places in the UK. Whether you drive to Shanklin beach for a day in the sun and sea or choose to explore the plethora of coastline footpaths, there are endless opportunities for adventure and memory-making.
The Forest Of Dean
Last, but certainly not least, is the Forest Of Dean. Located in the heart of the Cotswolds, you’d be forgiven for mistaking this jaw-dropping location for something straight out of a fairytale.
