Vanaways has appointed Dorian Domeradzki as National Account Manager, reinforcing the company's commitment to supporting businesses operating across the UK's rapidly evolving last-mile delivery sector. Bringing more than 15 years of experience across eCommerce, parcel delivery and final-mile logistics, Dorian joins Vanaways with extensive knowledge of developing and supporting delivery networks, ranging from individual owner drivers to large-scale service providers managing significant fleets across the UK.
Supporting Growth in Last-Mile Delivery
In his new role, Dorian will focus on expanding Vanaways' presence within the last-mile delivery market by building relationships with owner drivers, service delivery partners and fleet operators. He will also support businesses in accessing vehicle solutions designed to enable sustainable growth, helping operators navigate the challenges of running efficient and reliable delivery networks.
Prior to joining Vanaways, Dorian held senior positions within the parcel delivery industry, most recently leading national strategy initiatives supporting more than 6,000 self-employed service delivery partners across the UK. His responsibilities included shaping long-term network strategies, influencing operating models, developing partner propositions and improving engagement and retention across complex delivery networks. Alongside his UK responsibilities, Dorian also contributed to wider European initiatives, collaborating with teams across multiple countries to share best practice, improve partner experiences and support the future development of self-employed delivery networks within the wider eCommerce sector.
Despite operating at a strategic level throughout much of his career, Dorian believes that understanding the realities of day-to-day operations is essential to creating meaningful improvements.
"Some of the best decisions come from understanding what is happening on the ground," said Dorian. "Throughout my career I've spent time in depots, attending driver debriefs, visiting service providers and speaking directly with owner drivers and fleet operators. Those conversations provide valuable insight into the challenges businesses face, from vehicle funding and investment through to profitability, recruitment, retention and operational performance."
This practical experience has given Dorian a broad perspective across the sector, having worked with businesses of all sizes, from single-vehicle owner drivers to multi-route operators managing large workforces and extensive vehicle fleets. His appointment comes at a time when demand continues to grow for specialist vehicle solutions within the eCommerce and parcel delivery markets, where reliability, efficiency and cost control remain essential to business success.
Strengthening Vanaways' Growth Strategy
Commenting on his move to Vanaways, Dorian added:
"What excites me most is the opportunity to combine strategic industry experience with practical operational understanding to help further develop Vanaways' presence within the last-mile delivery sector. I believe there is a significant opportunity to create genuine value for owner drivers, service providers and fleet operators by combining industry knowledge with solutions that help businesses grow sustainably. Vanaways has built a strong reputation for customer service and innovation, and I'm looking forward to helping strengthen that position within this important market."
The appointment forms part of Vanaways' wider growth strategy as the business continues to invest in specialist expertise, technology and customer-focused solutions for commercial vehicle operators across the UK. With Dorian's extensive experience across eCommerce, parcel delivery and final-mile logistics, his arrival further strengthens Vanaways' ability to support businesses navigating the opportunities and challenges of an increasingly dynamic delivery landscape.
