Engines & Spec
Featuring a 150kW (201bhp) motor capable of producing 310 Nm of maximum torque, the Maxus e-Deliver 9 Tipper is more powerful, more efficient and most importantly, more eco-friendly than the standard diesel. Offering three battery pack variations, 52kWh, 72kWh and 89kwH, either matching or outdoing the majority of competitors in performance, The Maxus e-Deliver 9 Chassis Cab with Tipper boasts all of the excellent specs you’d expect as part of the e-Deliver range, as well as a terrific tipper system.
Boasting an impressive maximum payload of 1480kg, the Maxus e-Deliver 9 Electric Tipper has a chassis cab base available in two sizes; medium and long. With wheelbases ranging between 3760-4048mm in length, and a total vehicle length ranging between 6350mm-6680mm, the Maxus e-Deliver 9 Tipper is, of course, known for its electric tipper attached to the chassis cab and it’s here the electric van delivers.
With a maximum driving range of 219 miles per charge for the 89kWH battery pack, 146 miles for 72kWh and 112 miles for the 52kWh, the Maxus e-Deliver 9 Tipper offers similarly competitive range capacity figures as the standard e-Deliver for a large electric van, with rapid charging points able to charge the vehicle in as little as 40-45 minutes, depending on the size of the battery, whilst at-home charging points will offer similar charging times to most electric vehicles, (around 6-8 hours).
Interior
Offering the same modern interior as the Maxus e-Deliver 9, (itself not dissimilar to the diesel model), this sleek, piano black plastic design laced with a chrome-effect display is stylish and well-designed, if a little suboptimal. Made from plastic, you can expect a few squeaky noises here and there, as well as an overall lack of premium quality, but it’s no better or worse than many of its competitors, offering a relatively comfortable, easy-to-operate interior.
It does, however, offer the same terrific 10.0in infotainment touchscreen monitor that dominates the dashboard as the Maxus e-Deliver 9, suitable for maps, DAB radio and Android/Apple connection.
