Fast-growing energy efficiency specialists CRS are driving their business forward with the help of a new fleet of vans, supplied and supported by vehicle partner Vanaways.
CRS is a fully accredited retrofit/installations specialist, with over 50 years of collective industry experience across insulation, heating, and building fabric enhancements as part of the UK Government’s ECO scheme – helping households cut costs and reduce carbon emissions. With demand for their services increasing across South Wales and beyond, the business recognised the need for a modern, reliable fleet to match its ambitions.
“Before we started working with Vanaways, we relied on second-hand vans that didn’t always suit the needs of our jobs,” explained Jordan Thomas at CIS Energy. “We needed vans that were the right size, with the right specifications, to carry our equipment and materials.”
That’s when CRS found the perfect solution in Vanaways. From the first consultation, the process was designed to take the pressure off the CRS team. “We gave them our requirements, and Liam came back with exactly the vans we needed,” added Jordan. “It was quick, easy, and hassle-free.”
Since then, Vanaways has supplied 11 new vans, all delivered ready to use, with only minor internal racking added by the CRS team. The impact has been immediate: the vans are reliable, professional-looking, and perfectly matched to the scale of work being carried out.
“All the boys now have the right van size for their work, and all the materials fit comfortably,” said Jordan. “It’s been a huge benefit for us, making our jobs easier and allowing us to focus on delivering for customers.”
For CRS Energy, the partnership is about more than just vehicles—it’s about supporting long-term growth. “The whole process has been seamless, and it’s allowed us to keep up with demand without disruption,” Jordan continued. “When it comes time to upgrade again, we’ll definitely be going back to Vanaways.”
